GharSeNaukri Celebrating Mother’s Week
The beautiful woman who takes us in her arms when we fall, the strong woman who stands behind us guiding and supporting, the strict woman who yells at her kids when they howl for ice-cream before dinner, the crying woman whose heart aches when she sees her child struggling to find her feet in the world….Is the One and Only admirable creation called “MOTHER”. She is addressed by various names as Ma, Mom, Ayee, Maman, Amma, Mai, Mataji, Amee but is the quintessence of pure and unconditional love, indefatigable support and supreme sacrifice.
Mothers – Our Strength
It is said a young girl never realizes the importance of her mother till she herself becomes one!…..But yes motherhood is that unfathomable responsibility which comes to every woman naturally and she does it with ease and finesse despite all the challenges.
Our mothers are our strength. We have imbibed and learnt values and life skills from them. All mothers are their children’s anchor. Mothers lay the emotional foundation in the child. Be it any age, the child still yearns to hear the compassionate words “It’s fine baby, I am here”. Mothers are a bundle of emotions challenging every reason or sensibility.
Mother – That’s You
The poignant story of an IT professional from a small town in S Korea who lived at Seoul, shall move one to tears. As a child, he was always conscious of his mother being blind in one eye and the taunts in his school and college, made him move away to Seoul. Once established, he married without informing his mother and never bothered to get in touch with her. At an occasion of an alumni meet, when he returns home, he visits his mother’s shack, of course to unfortunately realize that his mother was no more. Going through old albums and letters, he stumbled across the writing by his mother in which she had mentioned about the horrifying accident which had taken away her only son’s vision of one eye and how she donated her eye to him so he could see the world properly.
Can any sacrifice be paralleled with this kind of love?
